Impact of UVC LEDs on COVID-19

Klaran UVC LEDs

By Klaran

The COVID-19 pandemic has forced OEMs, businesses, healthcare facilities, and other organizations to quickly find solutions that can effectively combat viruses in everyday environments. Crystal IS, an Asahi Kasei company and manufacturer of UVC LEDs, has seen a surge in demand for Klaran UVC LEDs- which emit ultraviolet light to inactivate viruses and prevent them from spreading.

In this webinar, Crystal IS presents research that demonstrates the effectiveness of germicidal UVC LEDs against SARS-CoV-2, the virus which causes COVID-19. This includes data from a study performed by Boston University's National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories (NEIDL) assessing how the virus responds to ultraviolet light across the emission range of Klaran UVC LEDs (260 nm to 270 nm) and at different doses.

If you have further questions about the information presented in this webinar or are interested in Klaran UVC LEDs for your disinfection application, please contact Crystal IS through Klaran.com today!
